Beneficiary Designation

In lieu of making a gift in their wills or estates, some people prefer the increased flexibility that a beneficiary designation provides by using: 

• IRAs and retirement plans
• Life insurance policies
• Donor advised funds
• Commercial annuities

It is very simple to name Reach Out Lakota, Inc. as a beneficiary. Request a change-of-beneficiary form from your policy administrator or download the form from your provider's website. Make your desired changes and return the form to establish your gift.

Since ROL is tax-exempt, the entire value of the gift (such as an IRA), will come to ROL. If an IRA is left to family members, for instance, federal income taxes would need to be paid on the value of the gift.
