Started in 2009, the Lakota Board of Education’s annual “Stuff the Bus” food drive is critical to Reach Out Lakota’s mission to help feed our neighbors in need. Bringing in over 15,000 pounds of food in 2020 alone, this event once again proved that our community is second to none in generosity and caring!
During this event, food collections are held at every school building within the district. Items are sorted and tabulated then loaded onto school buses to determine which of our school buildings is the most giving. Of course, as the recipient of this generosity, Reach Out Lakota is the real winner!
